CERTIFICATION

Accredited product & Services certification

Conformity International provides accredited product and services certification. We are accredited to ISO/IEC 17065 by SANAS, a signatory to the IAFWe offer our flagship Type 5 Product Certification Scheme which bears the CI Mark.

This type of product certification evaluates the quality system of the manufacturer and also evaluates the compliance of the product (from production and/or the market) to the relevant product standards. It thus provides the most complete product certification scheme and provides manufacturers and purchasers with the best possible ease of mind of product compliance and performance.

In this scheme one or more samples are tested and a statement of conformity issued by CI. Subsequent production items are not tested. Thus scheme is typically used for product prototypes or combinations of reports performed at various laboratories.

In this scheme a certification of a batch of products is performed. CI would select the types of samples and the number of samples based on sample specifics, variations and risk and would subject them to testing.

In this certification scheme the product would undergo initial testing at a laboratory and then subsequent testing samples would be taken by CI exclusively from the market and subjected to testing. This certification scheme considers the impact of the distribution channel on conformity.

This certification scheme involves the selection of samples from production and testing them. The production process is also audited but there is no sampling from the market and no audits of the quality management system. This certification scheme is effectively a verification of the production process.

This certification scheme involves the selection of samples from production and/or the market and testing them. The production process is also audited but no audits of the quality management system are performed. This certification scheme considers both the impact of the distribution channel, and the pre-market process, to identify serious problems.

This certification scheme includes audits of the quality management system and the audits of the actual processes and services that are certified. These can for example include cable jointing, equipment evaluations on site, etc.
